Boothbay Harbor Family Photos

These Boothbay Harbor family photos really warm my heart.  When a baby comes into the world, so much love radiates from the faces of parents and grandparents. My goal for each photo session is to convey the genuine love I see in their connections to each other.  Babies bring out the best in all of us and I believe it is impossible to capture bad images when there are little ones present.

I met with this lovely family to document their baby’s first visit to Maine.  The paternal grandparents hosted the occasion, which was also accompanied by an uncle.  The beautiful quilt you will see was made from the father’s shirts by the baby’s grandmother.  When he is all grown up, he will see from these photos that he was truly loved and cherished.

Many people wait for the “perfect” moment to have their family photos taken, but honestly, there is no perfect moment.  Actually, let me contradict myself.  ALL moments are perfect, so really the best time for photos is NOW!  Take a look at these in-between moments that truly capture the essence of their love for each other.
