I have never been to Vinalhaven before so when I got an inquiry about a family session, giving me the choice of either them coming to me or I go to them, I jumped at the opportunity to get on a ferry!  The one plus hour trip was gorgeous.  As the boat approached the harbor, everything I saw made it obvious that this is a fishing community.

While dad was out on his boat doing what Maine fishermen do, mom was at home with their three little ones doing what all moms do – keeping up with the seemingly constant growth of the children.  I felt lucky to get to tag along with my camera, keeping pace with their ever changing play.  But that is what I love about children – always exploring and expressing their world – and me, well I grab hold of tiny specs of who they are so at the end of a long day mom and dad can remember and say yeah, all of this is so worth it!Maine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerMaine Childrens PhotographerThank you so much for welcoming me to your life on the island!  I had such a great time and can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos!
