2017 Round Pond Parade

Every Fourth of July the people in the Midcoast region of Maine look forward to the Round Pond Parade.  In fact, there are numerous people who vacation here that have become accustomed to this tradition.  One never knows what to expect from this popular parade!  Decorated floats and people on horseback, antique cars and trucks, parade goers and participants armed with water balloons and water guns.  But lets not forget the infamous Tacky Tourists showing us exactly how to best enjoy our summers in Maine!

Stretching for over a mile on both sides of the street, people fill every inch of lawn and pavement to cheer and celebrate Independence Day.
