In a perfect world I would be shooting family photos everyday. Not necessarily at Point Defiance Park or Owens Beach for each session. I'd mix it up for sure. Tacoma has so many options but the most important one is the location that means something to your family. A place that is special. A place that has already started to collect memories.Read More
One of the most exciting things about my job is getting a call from a family who want photos taken with their young child (or children). But even more exciting is when they want the majority of the shots to be candid.Read More
There is nothing more wonderful than doing a photo session at someone's home where there are lots of old buildings and plenty of land. Plus I think November is one of my favorite times of year to be out with my camera. I love the bare trees, brown grasses, cat tails, plus the light is great. This sweet young family was great to work with! At the start of their session a couple of them informed me they weren't big fans of being photographed but by the time we were finished the five year old was coming up with more shots we should take! I hope you enjoy your preview!
I just adore photographing this family! They are relaxed, fun and extremely beautiful. They live in a most amazing location, with access to a view that literally takes your breath away. We drove to the highest point of their land and aside from how extraordinary it was, the silence was even more so. Not a car could be heard, just the wind and three cackling crows. We gathered and ate blueberries and wondered about the many shrubs full of dark berries that we suspected to be elderberry. If they are, oh my, what a find!
Okay, the photos! Much more important than words!
Mallory brought home a surprise bouquet of balloons for Rosy. One happy girl!
I think it's safe to say that Rosy adores cats, and it's a pretty equal love shared by both child and feline.
So there you have it - a sneak peek of your fabulous session. Stay tuned, I will have the rest of your photos very shortly!
