The Ransdell's at Pemaquid Beach
Our weather in Maine has been quite tricky these past few months. The fact that these images show the sun shining is purely a miracle. Whether it was fate or luck didn't matter, because I was able to photograph the Ransdell's at Pemaquid Beach without worry of rain! I have known most of this family since they moved here over a decade ago. Our daughters played together when they were in grade school and now they are in their 20's! I know it's cliche, but where does the time go? How do they grow up so fast?!
I bet if you're a parent reading this, you have asked yourself the same questions. The fact that they do grow and change is inevitable. We all want to keep them under our wing but we also know we must let them fly. While they are away from the nest, exploring their world and discovering who they are, we can relive the memories.
Photographs are the perfect vehicle in which to do so. This is why I love being a family photographer. I create pathways between yesterday and today by way of the images I take of your family. Whenever you feel nostalgic and want to hold your baby close, even though they are 22 years old, you can do this by looking through old photographs.
Find the time to have who your family is today documented so you will have access to this time, anytime.
