There is a special place in Midcoast Maine called the DRA - Damariscotta River Association.  It is one of my favorite spots to meet clients for their photo sessions.  These two adorable sisters were real troopers.  The oldest one kept wanting to go further and further, even though I reminded her that the farther we walked the longer it would take to get back to the car.  She didn't seem to care!  Her mother assured me that she loved to go for really long walks and would most likely hold up till the end of our session.  She did, except for just a little distance I offered to give her a piggy back ride.Mom told me she could get lots of photos of her eldest daughter smiling but her youngest was always so serious whenever the camera was pointed in her direction.  I decided the best tactic was distraction - running down hills, playing with leaves and milkweed pods and just plain old "lets go on an adventure!"  It worked like a charm!Every day we create memories.  How often do you preserve them so that years from now you can re-live those very important everyday moments of your life?  It's never too late to start.
